Editorial & Affiliate Disclosure
Affiliate Links
Some posts on UX Breadcrumbs include affiliate links, primarily to books, design tools, and educational resources I personally use or genuinely recommend.
If you click an affiliate link and make a purchase, I may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. This helps support the blog and lets me keep writing without paywalling content.
I will never recommend something I haven't used or wouldn't suggest to a friend. The cost of breaking that trust is higher than any commission.
Affiliate programs I currently participate in:
- None for now
Sponsored Content
Occasionally, a brand will pay for a sponsored post or include a paid mention. When this happens, I clearly label it at the top of the post with "Sponsored by [brand]" or similar.
Even in sponsored posts:
- My opinions remain my own
- I won't write about products I don't believe in
- I won't fake enthusiasm or omit downsides
Editorial Independence
The views on this blog are mine alone. They don't represent the opinions of my employer, clients, or anyone else.
I write about real experiences from my work as a designer, but identifying details about specific projects or clients are removed or generalised to protect their confidentiality.
Reader Trust
I take reader trust seriously. If you ever feel I've crossed a line, recommended something I shouldn't have, hidden a sponsorship, or written something misleading, please email me at sharmancm11@gmail.com. I'll address it openly.
